140 Perth Community Heroes Launch

Client | 140 Perth

Location | Postal Place, 140 William St, Perth

Looking back at the year that was, there is no doubt our strongest memories will be of empty toilet paper shelves and cancelled holidays. However, 140 Perth recognises that amongst the social distancing and rise of the hand sanitiser, there were members of our community that performed extraordinary deeds helping Perth people at the coalface, during the wreck we call 2020.

And so… 140 Community Heroes was born.

Amid a wonderland of chevron patterns and KOKO BLACK decadence, eight Community Heroes, handpicked by local charities, were revealed at a heartwarming launch event - where the heroes saw themselves on the pop-up gallery wall for the first time.

A brief glance at 140’s heroes:

  • Australian Red Cross Lifeblood nominates Janice, for donating blood 156 times since 1971

  • Breast Cancer Care WA nominates Ros, for creating a platform where people can provide grass roots support to those facing breast cancer since 2000

  • Lifeline WA nominates Frank, for answering a staggering 9,200+ calls to 13 11 14 over 18 years
