A day of inspiration, empowerment and equality, International Women’s Day at Barbagallo gave the ladies of Perth a chance to mingle with like-minded women and hear a variety of guest speakers whilst enjoying the ambiance of luxury found only at Barbagallo.
Beginning the day at the forever-sleek Ferrari was the Happiness Co’s Cassie and Julian, encouraging the women in attendance to find their true happiness within. A deluxe grazing table by Olio’s Catering featuring seasonal fruit, freshly baked banana bread and homemade roasted granola provided a healthy breakfast which looked almost too good to eat.
Fast-forward to the evening, where a warm afternoon made the perfect atmosphere for the throng of ladies who arrived at the Barbagallo showrooms to celebrate all things women. Dr.Kat, the Confidence Queen herself, inspired the group with her humourous real-talk as they sipped on ice-cold Rok Kombutcha. A selection of gourmet canapes including scallop ceviche and sweet garden peas enticed the women into the Land Rover showroom for the next exclusive guest speakers.
Amongst lavish, shiny engines, the ultimate Control Freak Kerrie Allen gave a motivating speech to the room, where she explained how devotion to organisation and time management can help to balance a healthy lifestyle by juggling work, family and fun. A delicious assortment of blistered tomato bruschetta, miniature charcoal haloumi tacos and basil crusted tuna made way for Cate Williams to impart her wisdom for the night. From The Inspire Collective, Cate shared her own story of finding purpose in what makes her happy by setting aside time to focus on her desires and to believe within her abilities.
The night couldn’t have ended any sweeter, with Annie from True Life Stories inspiring the ladies’ in the room to look for their own truth to share with the world in the sophisticated Volvo showroom. A mouth-watering cake created by Raquel from Fridays Cake became the ultimate centrepiece to a delicious grazing table to rival any other. Soaking in the all-inclusive atmosphere, each guest took home a specially curated Volvo gift bag and left with many more friends, ideas and inspiration.
